Pupils identified as having Special Educational Needs (SEN) as well as pupils with disabilities and medical conditions. In accordance with our Equality and Diversity Policy and our SEND Policy, our school does not directly or indirectly discriminate against any disabled child or young person.
CSB provides every child with the best education possible. To support this, CSB has a full SEN department that works with Heads of School, teachers, students, and parents on forming individualised support for students in need. CSB also has relationships with additional specialists if further interference is needed.
CSB provides intensive English classes for those students that are beginners to English-language education.
A school day runs from 08:15 to 15:00 (15:45 for Key Stage 4 and 5 students) for a total of seven periods lasting 45 minutes each. – School finishes at 14:30 in EYFS and Key Stage 1, 15:00 in Key Stage 2 and 3, and 15:45 for Key Stage 4 and 5 students. CSB offers a long programme for students in Nursery to Year 4, with the option to stay until 17:00 for an additional fee.
Yes, lunch is served in the school’s canteens.
The menu has been carefully prepared monthly by nutritional experts, serving a variety of healthy foods which has been prepared in-house. We do not serve pork, fried foods or chocolate. The school has a vegetarian option each day, and we cater for students with special diets (allergies and intolerances).
