(I)GCSE (Grade 10) IB Diploma (Grade 12) ISA testing (Grades 3-10) ACT and SAT as required for US-bound students IELTS and TEOFL - for students whose native language is not English who require it for university entry UK-based tests as necessary Other tests as required - these are generally not managed by UWCSEA, but students enter these tests as a requirement for the course they wish to study i.e. medicine in Australia.

In the academic curriculum: Mandarin (from K1) Spanish (from Grade 1) French (from Grade 2) German (from Grade 7) Dutch (from Grade 7) Japanese (from Grade 9) Korean (from Grade 9) Indonesian (from Grade 11) Hindi (from Grade 11) UWCSEA also offers School-supported Self-taught language courses for students in Grades 9 and 10 to support students wishing to take this option for the mother tongue in the IB Diploma. Home language (lunchtime or after school) These are small group classes for mother tongue speakers in order to support students whose first language is not offered as part of the academic programme. There were 13–16 languages available, taught by qualified language teachers.
