At CBS, the adaptation of the curriculum and teaching methodologies is a constant that is carried out thanks to the flexibility that our educational system gives us. In this way we offer and guarantee individualised treatment for each student, detecting their specific needs and adapting the classes, tasks and assessments to each of them. This also allows us to set specific objectives determined by individual abilities and needs. This differentiation of the teaching-learning process does not only apply to difficulties but also to high abilities. In this respect, we work in collaboration with the Avanza Foundation, an organisation specialising in high abilities and which maintains a close relationship with our centre, proposing different methodologies, teacher training and annual projects. There are reinforcement classes for those pupils who need them and we also organise specific classes to help in the preparation of official exams.
