CAIS uses the Measure of Academic Progress which is given in more than 140 countries around the world.
The MAP exam is meant to show individual student progress over a period of time. This allows the parents and student to see how the student is advancing in their learning journey. The longer a student is in an Adventist school, the better they will do and most are cognitively a year ahead of grade level after 7 years studying with our teachers.
We require all of our students, including international students, to take 5 periods of Khmer language and culture courses. This is to help them become not only English communicators, but to remain capable of communicating in their own country and culture.
