Weekly drop-in sessions provide one-to-one support for general study skills, organisation, or strategies for specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dysgraphia. Students without a diagnosis can undergo screening and assessment with the Coordinator, while those with a diagnosis work together to create an Individual Education Plan (IEP) outlining strengths, challenges, and tailored strategies. The focus is on empowering students to develop self-management skills, with plans shared with teachers and the IB.
Students with recognised special assessment needs receive tailored support coordinated by the Learning Support and Neurodiversity Coordinator, working alongside teachers and Personal Tutors. Teachers are experienced in helping all students reach their potential, while Personal Tutors monitor progress, provide guidance, and assist with organisation and planning. Oversight of learning support measures lies with the Assistant Principal, Pastoral and the Vice Principal, Academic, ensuring every student has the resources and strategies needed to succeed.
