About International School of London
ISL provides an intercultural community that fosters a passion and enthusiasm for learning through outstanding educational practices, recognised by OFSTED, the IB and CIS. At ISL, everything we design encourages students, teachers and parents to use the diverse cultures, languages and viewpoints around them to change the world for the better. Students' cultural and linguistic identities are valued and nurtured through our international curriculum and Home Language programme. Since 1972, we’ve established a community where students, parents and staff are happy and engaged in school life. That’s why our people are curious, able to explore deeper and broader, and build a unique understanding of the world around them. They develop deeper thinking and share rich experiences that send them out into the world with the talent, determination and compassion to change it for the better.

We have an extensive Home Language programme that is integrated into the curriculum. We teach 23 languages at the moment and will find a native speaking language teacher for new students if there is not already one in the school. We also have a programme of English Language Learning for those students who are not so fluent in English (our language of instruction) that runs alongside the curriculum. Parents are invited to English language classes of their own.
