M’KIS is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and a full-continuum IB World School. The school offers all High School students a course of study leading to a US High School Program Diploma. The majority of High School students choose the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma programme and thus graduate with both an IB Diploma and the M’KIS High School Diploma.
M'KIS students score well above world averages in IB exams and perform strongly on the SATs and ACTs, enabling them to gain admission to many tier 1 and 2 universities. For the 2022-2023 cohort, 30% of M'KIS graduates scored 40 points and above, with an average point score of 35. M'KIS students have achieved a 100% pass rate for four consecutive years.

M'KIS supports students who have mild learning differences, but do not have the facilities to support those whose needs are in the moderate/severe range.
PreK-3, PreK-4, and Kindergarten (KG) students are not engaged in formal English as an Additional Language (EAL) classes, but are immersed in a language-rich environment where they naturally absorb the language. For Grades 1-5, M'KIS has English as an Additional Language (EAL) classes for students. It may be EAL Intensive or EAL Support, depending on the proficiency level of the student. For Grades 6-10, M'KIS has English as an Additional Language (EAL) classes for students who are still learning English. EAL Support programme students receive support based on their individual needs.
8.00 AM for all grade levels. – 1:10 PM for PreK-3 & PreK-4; 2:40 PM for Kindergarten to Grade 12.
