This is a targeted intervention program to help students with identified needs to better succeed in their academic studies. Students who will benefit from the RISE programme will be identified by the Learning Support team in school or during the admissions process. As part of the admission process, we can ask your child to test their English to determine his/her English level. According to the result, we will place him/her in the right English group and he/she may have additional English support, which is provided in the curriculum. From 14 years old, a good level of English is compulsory, as they have to be proficient enough in English to follow the IGCSE or A-level examinations. As part of the admission process at this stage, your child will sit for an entry test to assess their English proficiency.
