CMIS follows an American standards–based curriculum. Students earn a U.S. High School Diploma, with opportunities to take Advanced Placement (AP) courses and exams in high school. Throughout their learning journey, students participate in internationally recognized assessments such as MAP, PSAT, and other grade-appropriate evaluations to support academic growth and college readiness.
MAP TEST CMIS evaluates students’ progress in achieving the learning standards in the curriculum by requiring that students in Grades 2 to 10 take the Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) test to measure development in the academic standards in mathematics, science, language, and reading. MAP data has consistently indicated that CMIS students surpass the international norms. SAT Test SAT is a standardized test created by the College Board that assesses skills in Reading, Writing, and Math. It provides a uniform benchmark for universities to evaluate and compare applicants from a wide variety of high schools and educational backgrounds. CMIS is an SAT Test Center. CMIS students continuously outperform the worldwide average score. From the October 2024 test, CMIS students' average total score is 1345, 647 for English Reading and Writing, and 697 for Math.
CMIS students study Thai as part of our curriculum. Starting in Grade 8, students may also choose French, Mandarin, or Spanish as additional world language options.
