   You work from the office, from home, or from a favourite cafe — predictable wifi matters more than the venue. Same E33G visa as Canggu. Ubud's appeal is the wellness + nature combination: yoga retreats, raw-food cafes, jungle villas, and a slower social pace than Canggu. Internet is the biggest practical risk for Asia-time-zone remote work — verify Starlink or fibre access before signing any 3+ month lease. Your calendar has at least one window a day reserved for no meetings — protect it like a deliverable.

   Afternoon · 13:00 – 18:00

   You live near Central Ubud (central, touristy, walkable, cultural): The walkable spine of Ubud — Jalan Raya Ubud, the Royal Palace, Saraswati Temple, the Ubud Art Market, and most of the boutique shops and restaurants. Touristy by day, calm by 9pm. Most walkable Bali address but also the busiest. A lunch meeting at a nearby restaurant is about $2 — you do two to three a week.
